Rio 2

Rio 2 a great adventure animation about two blue macaws in the journey back home.

Its a great prequel to its previous film with good CGI and catchy tunes, and perfect vocals from the vocal cast. But it lacks what all other blue sky studio sequels lack, a good story line. True it was an entertaining animation with the performances and the detailing in creating it but the story was not audience capturing in the sence that its sequel did.

Its change of story in bringing in more characters that could and did step up to there characters was a good choice from its casting directors.

In the box office it did pretty well scoring more than 4 times its budget , at $ 474 million, since released. It became the peoples favorite but its spotlight was stolen by train your dragon 2, which i will review in a few days.
